Preparing the Nasi Jaghe for the big wedding

Preparing a nasi jaghe takes its time. The main ingredients are dry coconut, white rice, and beans. Once everything is mixed, it will be stuffed inside a bamboo stick. The rice will be cooked outside, next to a fire. For the fire, old coconuts skims and wood will be burned.

After the wedding celebration, guests will bring home one of the sticks of Nasi Jaghe.
